About Kristi
Hi, I’m Kristi. I’m a registered dietitian and a certified health educator who’s passionate about helping people build a healthier relationship with food—without stress, guilt, or perfection. I work with patients of all ages, from infants to adults, and I have specialized training in pediatric nutrition. Supporting families through the ups and downs of childhood feeding is one of my greatest joys, and I love helping parents feel confident about nourishing their kids in a way that supports growth, comfort, and a positive long-term relationship with food. I also work extensively with adults navigating chronic conditions, including diabetes. My goal is always to make nutrition feel more doable—not overwhelming—by offering practical, evidence-based guidance that fits your real life. Whether you're trying to manage a condition, reduce confusion around food, or simply feel better day to day, I’m here to be your partner in that process.
Approach to care
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and judgment-free. I believe food should be both nourishing and enjoyable. I love to focus on evidenced based and proven strategies. My favorite moto's are "everything in moderation" and "progress over perfection". Together, we’ll focus on realistic steps that support your health, honor your preferences, and build confidence along the way.
Your first session with Kristi
During our first session, I’ll take the time to understand your goals, concerns, routines, and what truly matters to you. We’ll talk about your medical history, your current eating patterns, and any challenges you’re facing. From there, we’ll create a personalized plan that feels supportive, achievable, and aligned with your lifestyle—not something rigid or restrictive. You will leave every session feeling heard, encouraged, and confident about your next steps toward better health. If you’re looking for a dietitian who can help you make meaningful, sustainable changes, I’d love to support you on your journey.
Education
I recieved a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Brigham Young University–Idaho and a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Idaho State University. Additionally, I hold several specialty certifications and am a Certified Health and Education Specialist (CHES), Certified Specialist in Pediatric nutrition (CSP) and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
Hobbies
Outside of work, I love powerlifting, yoga, pilates, baking, reading, traveling, board games, spending time outdoors, and enjoying quality time with family and friends.
