About Kristin

I’m a Chicago-based Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) specializing in digestive health, with a focus on IBS and chronic GI symptoms. I was diagnosed with IBS at 16, and navigating my own symptoms is what ultimately inspired me to become a dietitian. I’m also a wife and mom of two boys. When my younger son was diagnosed with FPIES as an infant, I gained a deeper understanding of how complex eating challenges can affect not just an individual, but the entire family. These personal experiences shape how I support clients—with empathy, practicality, and a deep respect for how food fits into real life.

Approach to care

I take a collaborative, individualized approach to nutrition care. I support individuals and families navigating digestive concerns and dietary restrictions, helping them find strategies that feel realistic, flexible, and sustainable. With both personal and professional experience using the Low FODMAP Diet, I can support clients who are interested in this approach by helping identify food triggers while maintaining a positive, balanced relationship with food. For families, I want to help everyone feel at ease at mealtime by building confidence with food choices, encouraging curiosity, and protecting the joy of eating together. Across all of my work, I emphasize flexibility and long-term sustainability to help clients feel their best.

Your first session with Kristin

Your first session is a chance for me to truly understand you. We’ll talk through your symptoms, daily routine, lifestyle factors like sleep, movement, and stress, and your food preferences including how you approach meal planning, shopping, and cooking. I also want to understand what you’ve already tried: what’s helped, what hasn’t, and how ready you feel to make changes right now. There’s no pressure to be perfect or do everything at once. Our work will move at a pace that feels supportive and manageable. If you’re looking for thoughtful, individualized nutrition support that meets you where you are, I’d love to work together.
