About Kristy

Hi! My name is Kristy. I have been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 2011, with years of experience in outpatient counseling, corporate wellness, weight management, and bariatrics. During my college studies, I attended a student-athlete session on sports nutrition presented by the Registered Dietitian for the Pittsburgh Steelers—and that was my lightbulb moment. I knew then that I wanted to become an RD. I’ve always had a love for sports (I ran track and swam competitively in college) as well as nutrition, and I couldn’t wait to learn more and help others on their health and wellness journey. I truly believe that investing in your health is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, and I’m excited to be a part of your journey. When I’m not working, you’ll find me taxiing my three kids to school and sporting events, spending time with my husband, reading, running, or experimenting with a new sourdough recipe.

Approach to care

I believe in a patient-centered approach, and I will be your guide every step of the way. Nutrition is not one-size-fits-all, and together we will create a plan that works best for you. We’ll focus on setting small, achievable goals that lead to lasting change—prioritizing consistency over perfection.

Your first session with Kristy

Working with me is all about trust, connection, and a judgment-free environment. We’ll take time to get to know each other and make sure we’re a good fit. I’ll ask questions to better understand your day-to-day life and identify where we can start small to create meaningful, long-term change. Before our next session, you’ll choose 1–3 goals to work on—the ball will be in your court. Your goals are my goals, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
