About LaChell

Hello! I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Culinarian (CC) with over 15 years of experience in the field of nutrition and wellness. My passion for health began in the kitchen, where I first started experimenting with healthier cooking during my own personal health journey. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong commitment to helping others feel their best through food. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of nontraditional settings—from guiding shoppers as a grocery store dietitian to developing nutritious, consumer-friendly recipes in the food industry. These unique experiences have allowed me to blend culinary creativity with evidence-based nutrition, making healthy eating approachable, realistic, and enjoyable. Whether it's navigating the grocery aisles or simplifying meal planning, I’m here to empower individuals with practical tools and personalized support to nourish their bodies and reach their wellness goals.

Approach to care

One of my core values as a nutrition professional is helping clients make sustainable changes without losing the cultural integrity of their meals. I believe food should never be stripped of its meaning, comfort, or tradition. Whether you're navigating dietary changes or managing a health condition, I work with you to honor your food preferences and cultural background while creating a balanced, nourishing approach to eating. Together we can work to redefine what ā€œhealthyā€ looks like for you!

Your first session with LaChell

In our first session, my priority is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable being yourself. This is a time for us to get to know one another. I’ll ask about your medical and nutrition history, lifestyle factors, goals, and any other personal influences you'd like to share—because all of it matters when shaping an approach that works for you. I want to understand not just what you eat, but how food fits into your life, your traditions, and your values. You're also welcome to ask me anything about my background, experience, or approach. This is a collaborative partnership, and I’m here to support you with empathy, expertise, and respect for your unique journey.
