Approach to care
I am a firm believer that both your mind and body need to be in sync when it comes to creating the healthiest version of yourself. I will help you stay accountable by setting realistic expectations and teaching you how to thrive on your own. I aim to make sure you feel good both physically and mentally, and will provide you with the necessary education, tools and support to take action and see success with your goals, WITHOUT feeling like you have to make sacrifices. In addition to working as a fitness trainer, I have also worked as a holistic wellness RD and will typically incorporate this knowledge into our counseling sessions, as it yields incredible results for prevention and longevity.
Your first session with Laney
I love getting to know my patients and establishing lasting, trusting relationships so that you can feel comfortable during our sessions. In our first session, I'll get to know you, your current habits, needs and limitations. We'll identify your strengths, as well as areas you'd like to improve, and I'll work closely with you to set realistic goals and provide structure to your daily plan so you can feel confident in starting to build lasting habits. I offer the option to order lab testing if desired, as well as telehealth/virtual appointments.
