About Larisa

Hi! I am a Registered Dietitian with over 25 years of experience helping men and women navigate a wide range of health challenges, including hormone imbalances, diabetes and prediabetes, high cholesterol, gut and digestive disorders, autoimmune conditions, thyroid disorders and weight challenges.

Approach to care

My approach is rooted in functional nutrition, meaning I focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of symptoms rather than simply managing them. I believe that food is medicine, and when used intentionally, nutrition has the power to support healing, balance hormones, regulate blood sugar, reduce inflammation, and improve overall well-being. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals understand their bodies, connect the dots between symptoms and lifestyle factors, and learn how they can support themselves naturally through personalized nutrition, movement, targeted supplementation, and sustainable lifestyle changes. I work collaboratively with my clients, empowering them with education, practical tools, and realistic strategies that fit into real life.

Your first session with Larisa

Your first session is all about getting to know you and understanding the full picture of your health. We'll take time to review your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, eating patterns, and goals. I'll ask thoughtful questions to help uncover possible root causes behind concerns such as hormone imbalances, digestive issues, weight changes, fatigue, blood sugar challenges, or thyroid symptoms. If you have lab work, we will review it together using a functional lens and discuss what your results maybe telling us. You'll leave the session with clear insights, education you can understand, and practical next steps which may include nutrition strategies, lifestyle adjustments and personalized recommendations tailored to your body and your life.
