About Laura

You want to feel better—have more energy, improve your health, and find a way of eating that actually fits your life. That’s where I come in. I’m a registered dietitian with over a decade of experience in hospitals, rehab centers, and outpatient care. I’ve helped people make realistic, sustainable changes that lead to lasting results—like lower A1C, better heart health, more energy, and an overall sense of well-being. Nutrition doesn’t have to be overwhelming. As a mom of four who grew up in a big Italian family, I understand food is more than fuel- it’s also connection, culture, and comfort. I’ll help you discover how food can work for you, with simple, practical solutions that fit your lifestyle in a balanced and sustainable way. Whether you're managing a health condition or simply want to feel better every day, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan that helps you thrive—without the stress or extremes.

Approach to care

My holistic approach to nutrition is rooted in evidence-based research and guided by empathy, practicality, and a bit of humor. I believe lasting change doesn’t come from rigid rules or quick fixes—it comes from understanding, support, and the leeway to make choices that work for you. We’ll focus on building the knowledge and skills that foster confidence and flexibility—especially when life doesn’t go as planned. It’s not about overhauling everything at once; it’s about small, intentional shifts that lead to meaningful, lasting change. Education is key—I’ll share science-backed tools tailored to your needs, so you feel informed and empowered, not overwhelmed. We’ll also make time for reflection and adjustments as life evolves. Progress isn’t always linear—and that’s okay. I’m here as a partner: to celebrate wins, navigate setbacks, and help you build a nourishing, sustainable relationship with food—and with yourself.

Your first session with Laura

Whether it’s your first or twenty-first visit, you can expect a relaxed, supportive, and judgment-free space. At your first appointment, we’ll go through a full nutrition assessment so I can get a clear picture of your health and history. I’ll ask about things like your medical background, medications, labs, eating habits, movement, and sleep. It might feel like a lot of details, but it’s all to help me understand where you’ve been and where you want to go with your health. It’s also a chance for you to get to know me—and for me to get to know you—so we can start building a plan that feels right for you.
