Hi, I am Laura. I am a Registered Dietitian with 12 years of experience, grounded in a Bachelor of Science from Baylor University. I have practiced in clinical and hospital settings, including cardiac rehab, NICU, and pediatric hospital teams, caring for patients from preterm infants to older adults. In my free time I treasure family time with my husband and our two kids, and we love exploring local attractions and restaurants. I enjoy walking, cooking, and shopping, and I’m passionate about helping people nourish their bodies in realistic, sustainable ways.

My care philosophy centers on realistic and sustainable changes. I am committed to an empathetic and warm approach, meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that fits your life. As a busy mom myself, I understand how hard it can be to focus on your own health and the long-term health of your loved ones. We'll use an evidence-based framework to translate science into practical steps. I use a HAES (healthy at every size) lens that honors your body and focuses on behaviors rather than weight alone. Your first session with Laura

Our first appointment is all about you. We will start by reviewing your medical history, medications, labs, and current eating patterns to understand what matters most. I want to get to know you and your daily life, so we can tailor a realistic plan that fits your schedule. We will explore short-term goals together and outline an attainable action plan, including how we’ll track progress and adjust as needed. No pressure, no judgment, just a warm, collaborative conversation about your health and goals.
