About Laura
With over 30 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of patients, from those with traumatic brain injuries and eating disorders to individuals navigating substance use. I earned my degree from Michigan State University and completed my internship and graduate work at Emory University. My journey began in long-term care, and since then, I’ve supported patients in their homes and at mental health facilities, focusing on a variety of conditions such as diabetes, obesity, malnutrition, and healthy eating habits. In addition to my role as a Registered Dietitian, I’m also a Certified Yoga Instructor. I truly believe in the powerful connection between body, mind, and spirit, and take a holistic approach to health. I’ve seen firsthand how the right nutrition and movement can help the body function at its best.
Approach to care
I’m excited to share my knowledge, support you in identifying your needs, and offer practical tools to help you build a healthier relationship with food and create lasting, positive changes. When it comes to diet and exercise, I focus on identifying any missing nutrients, or lifestyle practices that may be impeding ones health. Together, we can embark on a journey toward a more balanced, vibrant lifestyle!
