About Laura
I’m a Registered Dietitian specializing in integrative and functional nutrition, with a strong belief that food can be one of our most powerful tools for prevention, healing, and long-term vitality. My approach is deeply individualized—there’s no one-size-fits-all plan here. I take time to truly listen to your story, understand your health history, lifestyle, and goals, and then work with you to build sustainable nutrition strategies that fit your life. I believe nutrition should feel supportive, not restrictive. Whether you’re navigating chronic symptoms, optimizing energy and gut health, or simply trying to feel better in your body, my role is to meet you where you are with empathy, curiosity, and evidence-based guidance.
Approach to care
I view food as both nourishment and information for the body—what we eat can shape inflammation, digestion, hormone balance, metabolic health, and overall resilience over time. Through an integrative and functional lens, my approach centers on identifying root causes rather than simply managing symptoms, supporting the body’s natural systems with food-first strategies, and creating plans that are realistic, flexible, and sustainable. Education is a key part of this process, so you feel confident and empowered to make informed choices on your own. Ultimately, nutrition isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress, consistency, and building habits that support your health both now and in the future.
Your first session with Laura
Your first session is entirely centered on you. We’ll take time to explore your health history, current symptoms, and primary concerns, along with your relationship with food and any past nutrition experiences. We’ll also discuss key lifestyle factors such as stress, sleep, movement, and daily routines, as well as your short- and long-term health goals. This initial conversation lays the foundation for a personalized plan that we will continue to refine and adjust as your needs evolve over time.
