About Laura
Laura has been a Registered Dietitian for the past 7 years. During this time, she has worked in a variety of areas in nutrition, such as oncology, weight management/bariatric surgery, chronic kidney disease, heart health, intuitive eating, and managing disordered/emotional eating. Laura is passionate about helping her clients improve their relationship with food, their health and their body.
Approach to care
Her passion lies in helping individuals work towards making peace with food by promoting a healthy relationship with food and their bodies with non-diet and weight inclusive approaches. Laura uses a client-centered approach by listening to your priorities and needs, answering your questions, and coaching you through it with humor, empathy, flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.
Your first session with Laura
Laura will take the time to get to know you during your first session and discuss where you are at in your nutrition/health journey, what you desire for yourself, and what you think has been hindering you to achieving your goals. You can expect encouragement/support and the first few steps to get you in the direction of where you desire to be with your nutrition and health goals by building sustainable habit changes.
