About Laura
I’m a registered dietitian who believes health is about more than numbers — it’s about feeling empowered, balanced, and at peace with food. I enjoy supporting clients through women’s health concerns, food allergies, sustainable weight loss, and anti-inflammatory approaches to eating.
Approach to care
I believe in meeting clients with empathy and respect, using principles of Health at Every Size, mindfulness, and intuitive eating to support lasting change. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where we can work together on building habits that feel realistic, compassionate, and truly nourishing.
Your first session with Laura
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about your goals, challenges, and daily routine. I’ll ask questions to better understand your relationship with food, health history, and what support feels most helpful to you. Together, we’ll start building a plan that feels personalized, approachable, and tailored to your lifestyle.
Education
Masters of Science in FACS Nutrition Emphasis, University of Central Arkansas Dietetic Internship, University of Central Arkansas Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, University of Central Arkansas
Hobbies
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, coaching my kids’ sports teams, gardening, hanging out with my chickens, getting lost in a good book, crafting, tackling DIY projects, exploring the outdoors, and traveling whenever I can.
