About Laura

Laura is an IBS, Digestive Health RD, and Certified Personal Trainer. Born and raised in Ventura, California, she now resides in Parker, Colorado, with her husband, two pups (Oliver and Theo), and kitty (Luna). Her nutrition journey began with personal struggles including IBS, fatigue, food sensitivities, and a lack of support. Navigating the space between conventional and functional nutrition, she integrates both using evidence-based methods, offering a balanced perspective on health. In a world dominated by 15-minute healthcare visits, toxic wellness culture, and social media she understands the confusion around nutrition! Laura believes food should bring both joy and health.

Approach to care

Laura takes an individualized approach to care, using her counseling skills to ethically guide clients in their health journeys. She values connecting with clients, helping them identify areas for growth and equipping them with practical tools for healthier living. With a focus on long-term gains rather than quick fixes, Laura employs a bottom-up approach, optimizing daily habits before moving on to specialized recommendations. Believing in an 'add, not restrict' philosophy, she promotes balance and flexibility in food choices. While she loves talking about gut health, Laura also specializes in supporting individuals with Endometriosis, PCOS, POTS, MCAS, and EDS.

Your first session with Laura

In the first session, Laura takes a deep dive into your health history, nutrition, and lifestyle. She spends time getting to know you, understanding the type of education you're seeking, and uncovering the reasons behind your concerns and goals. If you’re visiting her for digestive issues, she will ask detailed questions about your symptoms. Laura’s goal is to create a comfortable space for exploring these personal topics. Collecting this information enables her to craft personalized recommendations that truly suit your needs.
