About Lauralyn
I am a registered dietitian with nearly two decades of experience providing compassionate, evidenced-based nutrition care. Since 2007, I have worked extensively in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting patients through a wide range of clinical and lifestyle nutrition challenges. I have experience providing nutrition counseling for a variety of health issues, including cardiac disease, diabetes, kidney disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and eating disorders. I have since expanded into total family health and wellness. I love helping parents with nutrition education so they can encourage changes for the whole family and incorporate those changes into their daily lifestyle.

My approach to care is genuine concern and passion for the experience you are having. There is NEVER judgement. Let's start with where you are, and get you to where you want to be. Let's do it together, every step of the way. It takes love and forgiveness for yourself. Changes do not happen overnight, but if we set goals and have plans, they will happen.
Your first session with Lauralyn
Our first session is all about you. We'll start with a conversation-I'll ask about your medical history, eating habits, lifestyle, and any symptoms or concerns you are experiencing. Whether you're managing a condition like high blood pressure, diabetes, or digestive issues, or simply looking to feel better in your body, this is a space where you are heard and supported-no judgment, no rigid rules. We will also talk about your relationship with food. I take a whole person approach to nutrition, so we may explore not only what you eat, but how and why. This includes your hunger cues, emotional eating patterns, energy levels, and even sleep or stress. All of these factors play a role in how we nourish your body. Together we will set realistic, achievable goals that feel doable for you. You will leave the first session with clear, personalized next steps- plus the reassurance that you are not doing this alone. I look forward to walking this journey with you.
