About Laurel

Hi, I'm Laurel, a Registered Dietitian based in Atlanta Georgia. With 25 years of practice, I’ve supported people across community health, clinical settings, pediatrics, and geriatrics, always guided by a BS in Food and Nutrition Science. I hold the LDN and RDN credentials, and I'm grateful for the trust my patients place in me. When I'm not meeting with clients, you can find me practicing yoga, reading fiction, or walking my dog. I honor every food preference and approach each person with warmth and curiosity.

Education guides my practice and research informs our plan, but I never forget you are an individual. I work from an evidence-based, HAES-aligned approach that lights the path to sustainable change. We'll move beyond quick fixes with clear, actionable steps that fit your life. I'm here to listen with empathy and warmth, but I'll also help you set realistic goals and track progress. We'll focus on whole-person health and lifelong learning about nutrition.

Your first session with Laurel

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history and any recent lab work or biometrics, listen to your story, and discuss your goals and concerns in a non-judgmental space. You don't need to have it all figured out yet; we'll explore what matters most and identify 1-2 practical steps to start. Together we'll build a plan that honors your preferences and supports lasting, meaningful change.
