Hi, I’m Laurel! I’m a Registered Dietitian from Oklahoma. I’m passionate about all things food and especially love making nutrition more accessible through meal prepping and practical planning. My counseling style is supportive and collaborative—I enjoy getting to know my patients and working alongside them to build confidence to achieve their unique health goals. I have a strong interest in areas such as weight management, longevity, food freedom, nutrition accountability, and managing chronic conditions. My approach to care is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I believe in taking the time to understand each patient’s individual preferences around food, movement, and daily routines. Building a strong, supportive relationship is essential for creating an environment where goals feel realistic and achievable. I view nutrition as highly individual—there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. During our sessions, I aim to provide practical tools and guidance, whether that’s recipe or meal prep ideas, movement tips, education on managing conditions like high cholesterol or diabetes, a flexible plan to help you stay accountable and motivated, or simply just someone to talk to without judgement.

Your first session with Laurel

During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin developing personalized short- and long-term goals based on your unique needs. We’ll review your health history, and deep dive into current eating patterns, lifestyle habits, and any challenges you may be facing. Toward the end of the session, we’ll summarize our discussion, address any questions you have, and set at least one realistic short-term goal to help you get started. My priority is to ensure that the goals we create are both sustainable and tailored to support your long-term success.

Hobbies

Meal prepping and cooking for others is a passion of mine - anything to help increase convenience and accessibility to healthy eating! Walking with my dog Otie, friends or family is a must throughout the week. I have recently been enjoying yoga for another form of movement. When time allots I love completing puzzles at home or on vacation. Lastly, I love traveling to explore new places and new foods.
