About Lauren
Hi, I'm Lauren! I am a Registered Dietitian and I am passionate about helping people learn how to make choices that are sustainable and that align with their nutrition goals. I believe that food can function as a powerful tool in preventing disease and increasing quality of life and I am dedicated to helping others gain the skills to use it to better their health. I know firsthand how intimidating it can be to try to figure out how and what to eat which is why I want to be there to help you as you navigate nutrition!
Approach to care
Many people think that dietitians are the "food police" but nothing could be further from the truth for me. My goal is to empower you to make choices that align with your goals, not to control your food choices. I firmly believe that all foods can be a part of an overall healthy lifestyle and that learning how to have a good relationship with food can be an absolute game-changer. However, this is a process that takes time (there is no "quick fix") which is why we will meet weekly or biweekly so that I can be here to provide you with evidence-based guidance as you make small, sustainable changes. You will leave our sessions feeling heard, supported, and better able to make informed choices that will help you achieve your goals!

Because nutrition, eating, and health are all so personal, I want to dig in to your motivations, your habits, and what your goals are for the future. I provide an open, caring environment that is judgement-free and supportive of you working towards your goals. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and help guide you on your nutrition journey!

Dual degrees in Dietetics and Nutrition & Health from K-State
Hobbies
Long walks with my Australian Shepherd (Chester), cooking, reading, home canning, yoga, and spending time in nature.
