About Lauren
I am a passionate dietitian with experience in outpatient counseling, long term care, and sports nutrition. As a former collegiate runner I understand how important nutrition is for performance. As a human, I also understand how important food is for pleasure, socialization, and culture. I love helping people find a balance between fuel and fun.
Approach to care
I believe all foods fit and food should be enjoyed. Food is fuel but its also so much more. I’ll help you find a realistic plan to meet your goals without taking away the enjoyment. Whether your goal is weight loss, weight gain, sports performance, overall health improvement, or managing disease, I am here to help and support you.
Your first session with Lauren
The first session is all about getting to know you, your goals, and your food history. I’ll be asking you losts of open-ended questions. I want to use the first session to get to know you as a whole person. Food is one piece of the puzzle but there are so many factors to health that I want to know more about. So be prepared for lots of questions from me!
