About Lauren
I earned my MS in Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University and have spent 13 years practicing in the tristate area of Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia as a Registered Dietitian. My career has taken me through hospitals and clinical work, dialysis units, long-term care, bariatric surgery programs, and community health. Those experiences taught me to pair evidence with practical problem solving. Outside of work I enjoy CrossFit, hiking with my family, and cooking, and I love helping people fold healthier habits into everyday life.
Approach to care
Evidence and empathy guide how I work with patients. I use current research and proven protocols while keeping conversations warm and judgment-free. We'll set direct, manageable steps that fit your routine, prioritizing sustainable habits over quick fixes or diet culture. I practice weight-neutral care and focus on the whole person, including sleep, stress, and lifestyle. I aim to teach practical skills so you can make informed choices and keep progress long term.
Your first session with Lauren
Expect a relaxed, collaborative visit where we'll review your medical history and talk through what matters most to you. This conversation is low-pressure and judgment-free, so you don't need to have everything figured out ahead of time. Together we'll identify short-term, realistic goals and a few practical first steps to build momentum. You'll leave with a clear plan and the knowledge that we'll adjust as needed to fit your life.
