About Lauren

Lauren is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with seven years of clinical and counseling experience. Lauren has helped people manage a wide variety of health conditions including diabetes, prediabetes, high cholesterol, fatty liver, PCOS, high blood pressure, cancer (pre and post treatment) and more. Lauren knows that the world of nutrition and "healthy eating" can be a confusing place to navigate, and it is her passion to educate and guide you towards discovering what healthy means for you.

Approach to care

Lauren is here to support you and meet you where you are in your journey towards improving your health. She uses a combination of evidence-based strategies and a patient centered approach to individualize a plan that helps you reach your nutrition-related goals. Lauren's main priority is to help you feel confident and empowered by building a healthy relationship with food and understanding that food can be both nourishing and delicious!

Your first session with Lauren

Our first session will be all about getting to know each other and how I can help you achieve your goals. We will discuss your medical history, past experiences (if any) with nutrition counseling, what has worked for you in the past and what hasn't, your typical day-to-day eating habits and dietary preferences as well as any concerns you may have. We will collaboratively come up with small, achievable goals that will act as stepping stones to get you closer towards your long term health goals.
