About Lauren
Hi! I'm Lauren, a plant-based registered dietitian living with an autoimmune thyroid disease. In addition to meeting with patients, I'm a wellness writer and speaker. As a single mom, I understand that busyness can make wellness goals feel more daunting, requiring a realistic, tailored-to-you long-term strategy. Let's figure it out together!
Approach to care
I take a wholistic, lifestyle-centered approach to healthcare. Everything is connected, so when we want to improve our health, we have to consider food choices as well as other everyday habits to inform our best next steps. The science of what to do is there; applying it takes personalization.
Your first session with Lauren
In your first session, let's get to know each other. We'll take a comprehensive look at your whole lifestyle, including current habits related to nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and social support, discuss personal health/medical history, and identify areas you'd like to change. Each session will conclude with a clear plan before we meet again. I never want you to leave feeling uncertain about what to do next.
