About Lauren

Hi there! I'm Lauren! I am a Registered Dietitian with a background in Certified Personal Training - now specializing in weight management through an intuitive eating and integrative approach. A little bit about my background: I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Food and Nutrition from Appalachian State University. After a few years of exploring Personal Training/Group Fitness and traveling the world, I went back to school to obtain my license as a Registered Dietitian at Lenoir Rhyne University in Asheville. Since then, I have worked extensively with clients on a wide variety of subjects ranging from active aging to women's health to diabetes.

I specialize in weight management through an intuitive eating and integrative approach with a commitment to providing a non-judgmental environment. My goal is to empower individuals to build healthy, sustainable lifestyle choices while relearning a loving relationship with food and self. I believe in creating a supportive environment where clients feel respected and understood, allowing them to make their own informed choices that align with their unique needs. Through individualized guidance, evidence based nutrition therapy and a "whole picture" approach, I strive to help each person achieve their wellness goals while fostering a positive and balanced relationship with food and self.

In your first session with me, you can expect a relaxed and welcoming environment where we can begin to discuss and understand your personal nutrition related goals and health history. This is a chance for you to share your experiences in a safe and non judgemental setting. Based on our discussion, we’ll develop a personalized plan that respects your preferences and lifestyle. This plan will be flexible and adaptable over time, designed to support you in making gradual, positive changes. I like to describe myself as down to earth, intentional, and funny (one of my aspirations in life) and hope to bring that energy to every session.
