About Lauren
Hi, I’m Lauren. I earned my MS in Nutrition Science from San Jose State University and my BS in Kinesiology from Arizona State University. I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I’m also credentialed as a CPT, and I value clear, practical guidance. Outside of work, you’ll find me cooking, practicing yoga, weightlifting, gaming, photography, or curled up with a good book. I’m excited to meet you!
Approach to care
I believe in a patient-centered, individualized approach to nutrition care. My philosophy is to work collaboratively with each patient to develop realistic, sustainable nutrition strategies that support both health outcomes and quality of life. I emphasize evidence-based practice, compassionate counseling, and education.
Your first session with Lauren
Our first appointment is a welcoming conversation about you. We’ll review your medical history, current routines, relationship with food, and your short-term goals. You don’t need to have it all figured out; this is a judgment-free, low-pressure space! I’ll listen, ask thoughtful questions, and we’ll set 1 to 2 realistic goals to start. By the end, you’ll know what we’ll work on next and feel confident moving forward.
