About Lauri

Hi, I’m Lauri. I bring 30 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, with an MS in Nutrition/Dietetics from Tufts University and credentials as a CDCES, to my outpatient practice. Most of my career has been hospital-based, working with patients across the lifespan and helping manage diabetes with a wide range of diabetes technologies. I’ve supported children, teens, adults, pregnant and lactating women, and seniors, always with warmth and science on my side. Outside of clinic, you'll often find me hiking or biking, capturing moments with my camera, cooking, traveling, and enjoying time with my mini golden doodle. I’m grateful to help people learn how food affects health and feel confident making positive changes.

Approach to care

My care philosophy is collaborative, evidence-based, and person centered. I stay grounded in current science while making complex ideas understandable, so you leave each visit with real, doable steps. I work with empathy and warmth, meeting you where you are and celebrating small wins. I embrace a weight-neutral, Health at Every Size inspired approach, focusing on behaviors that support health rather than chasing a number. We'll look at nutrition in a holistic way, considering sleep, stress, activity, and your values, so change lasts.

Your first session with Lauri

Our first appointment is a conversation about you and your goals. We will review your medical history, lab work or biometrics if available, and start to establish short-term goals. After we've reviewed your history, I'll outline some practical first steps to try in your eating patterns, and we can set expectations for follow-up. In future visits we'll dive deeper and, if you'd like, tailor a more specific meal plan. There is no pressure to have everything figured out on day one; we'll go at a pace that feels right for you.
