About Leah
Nutrition has been my career and curiosity for more than two decades. As an RDN/LD with 24 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati, I draw on work in community health and clinical nutrition settings to make recommendations that actually fit your life. I enjoy translating clinical knowledge into simple, sustainable habits. When I'm not working I recharge by exploring nature and spending time with family, which keeps my counseling grounded and realistic.
Approach to care
Food and health are never one-size-fits-all. I rely on current evidence to guide practical, proven steps, while honoring your lived experience through a Health At Every Size lens. We'll work together in a warm, nonjudgmental space to set clear, achievable actions and build accountability that feels supportive. My goal is to educate and empower you so changes stick long term, addressing the whole person, including routines, stress, and emotions.
Your first session with Leah
Come with questions, not perfection. Our first visit is a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history, discuss your day-to-day routines and what matters most to you, and establish short-term goals that feel doable. You don't need to have it all figured out beforehand. As an RDN/LD I focus on clear, realistic steps, and we'll leave with a practical first action and a plan to build sustainable habits together.
