Hi, I'm Leah from Lafayette, Louisiana. I have seven years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and hold an MS in Nutrition Sciences and a BS in Dietetics. My career has taken me from Clinical/Hospital roles to Community Health, Research/Academia, and working with medical supplies for people living with diabetes. I carry postnominals MS, CDCES, LD, and RD as a reflection of my training and commitment to care. Outside of work, I love relaxing, exercising, and spending time with my family, plus concerts and comedy shows. Before college, my passion was caring for people with diabetes to lessen their burden and help them thrive.

My approach emphasizes long-term change over quick fixes, with a health-at-every-size mindset that respects your pace and values. Our first appointment is all about you. We'll create a warm, judgment-free space to review your medical history, lab work, and current biometrics, and to explore your relationship with food. We'll establish short-term goals and begin weaving in practical steps you can try right away. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet; I'll guide you in a collaborative way so you feel supported and heard. Together we'll build trust and a realistic plan that fits your life in Lafayette and your family commitments.
