About Leah

Hey! I'm Leah. I'm a Registered Dietitian with three years of clinical experience having previously worked in a psychiatric hospital for over a year. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Dietetics from Grand Valley State University, along with Bachelors in both Psychology and Allied Health Sciences. My training blends science with a human centered approach, so I translate the latest nutrition research into practical steps you can actually follow. I value thoughtful listening and collaboration, meeting you where you are and walking with you toward lasting, doable changes. I'm grateful to support you on this journey!

Approach to care

My care philosophy blends evidence-based science with empathy and a collaborative spirit. I stay grounded in current research and proven protocols while honoring your experiences, goals, and life context. You'll notice a direct, action oriented approach with practical steps and accountability. I embrace a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective that centers on behavior and well being rather than a number on the scale. Education guides our work so you feel empowered to make informed choices. Together we'll build a sustainable plan that fits your life.

Your first session with Leah

Our first appointment is a warm, collaborative conversation. We'll review your medical history and begin to understand how nutrition fits into your life right now. You don't need to have it all figured out just come as you are. We'll discuss what matters most to you, identify one or two realistic steps to start, and set goals that feel doable. The session is supportive and nonjudgmental, designed to help you feel seen and heard while we map a path forward together.
