Hello, I'm Leah β a non-diet registered dietitian and certified Mind-Body Eating Coach. I believe your relationship with food is a powerful teacher that can empower you in all aspects of life. We focus on creating a nurturing environment to explore what nourishes you and develop sustainable, healthy eating and wellness habits to last a lifetime. I love integrating somatic work with intuitive eating to help you develop a positive relationship with food and your body while maximizing health. I also specialize in supporting neurodivergent and highly-sensitive individuals through a trauma-sensitive lens. Let's collaborate to discover what nourishes you.

My approach to nutrition is rooted in empathy and empowerment. I help you find balance and feel good in all aspects of life. I believe you are the expert on your body, and teach you to nourish yourself without rigid meal plans, constant tracking, or strict diets. We focus on ending lifelong weight cycling, and improving your relationship with food and body for sustainable, lifelong health. Together, we'll achieve your goals through evidence-based, holistic practices. I work best with those seeking compassionate, empathetic care, who want to end weight and diet cycling, prefer a weight-neutral, intuitive eating approach, value holistic wellness, and appreciate a trauma-sensitive practitioner.
Your first session with Leah
The first session is designed to make you feel welcome, supported, and understood, establishing a trusting relationship. We'll spend about 60 minutes getting to know each other, discussing your goals, and setting intentions for your health journey. I'll conduct a comprehensive health assessment, covering your medical history, lifestyle, and dietary habits. Together, we'll set achievable health goals and create a personalized action plan with dietary recommendations, lifestyle adjustments, and holistic wellness practices. My goal is for you to leave feeling empowered and ready to take steps towards greater nourishment and well-being.

Hobbies
In my free time, I enjoy connecting with the natural world by exploring and working in gardens, kayaking, hiking in the White Mountains, traveling solo to see concerts and visit cool places, and spending time with close friends, my partner Daryl, and my sweet dog Mika. I love creating art through writing, music, and collage. I also regularly attend and host virtual and in-person classes, workshops and retreats focused on health, wellness, and spiritual healing through my business @the.nourished.sensitive.
