About Lee

Hi, I'm Lee. I've been a practicing Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist for 16 years, earned an MS in Nutrition Science from East Carolina University, and practiced in clinical, private practice, and community health settings. I love staying active and being outdoors, from running and cycling to hiking, camping, & gardening because real change happens when nutrition fits your life. My training also includes being a Registered Yoga Teacher and a Certified Personal Trainer. With my years of experience, background, & training, I am here to listen and help you build lasting, workable habits.

Approach to care

I believe care should be grounded in science and compassion. My approach is evidence-based, translating current nutrition research into practical steps you can actually live with. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen and heard. We'll set clear, achievable actions and track progress together, prioritizing sustainable change over quick fixes. I practice taking a whole person health approach to help you optimize your health and wellbeing, taking into consideration all factors that contribute to whole person health.

Your first session with Lee

Our first appointment is a welcoming, low pressure conversation about you. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, and together establish short-term goals that feel doable. You don't need to have every detail ready; this is a collaborative process built to fit your life. I'll ask about your daily routines, your relationship with food, and what helps you feel energized and hopeful. By the end, we'll have a couple of clear next steps to start with.
