About Leigh
Hi! I’m Leigh! I help women manage weight gain associated with hormone change. I’ve been a Registered Dietitian since 2009 working with clients all across the lifespan and more recently working with women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. My passion came from my own experience with weight loss resistance with age. It can be a challenging time for women going through menopause. What worked in your 20s doesn’t work in your 40s! Whether it’s hot flashes, mood swings, weight gain, or other symptoms associated with menopause, I am here to help you cut out the noise and use nutrition, exercise, and education that supports hormone change.
Approach to care
I want to work with you in co-creating an action plan that works for you! Using a whole0body approach, we will focus on foods you can add rather than foods to cut out, exercising in a way that supports your body and metabolic health, and address issues outside of nutrition and exercise that could be negatively affecting your overall health.
Your first session with Leigh
During our first call we will talk through your current goals and develop an action plan on how you can meet your goals. Together we will develop an action plan based on your health and diet history, stress levels, digestive function, hormone status, and many more indicators of metabolic health. Small, actionable action items will get you on your way to overall wellness.
