About Leslie
With 30 years as a Registered Dietitian, I help adults feel better, stronger, and more confident about food. My experience spans acute and long-term care, diabetes education, and weight management. I support clients with diabetes, heart and kidney health, digestive issues (IBS, FODMAP, GERD), menopause, food allergies, healthy aging, weight changes, and plant-based eating. My practical, encouraging, research-based approach focuses on simple strategies, realistic meal planning, accountability, movement, better sleep, and building a healthier, guilt-free relationship with food. Nutrition should support your health and happiness.
Approach to care
I believe nutrition should be supportive and empowering, not overwhelming. With over 30 years as a Registered Dietitian, my evidence-based, practical approach helps you make lasting changes for better health and happiness. I meet you where you are, offering realistic strategies tailored to your needsâlike personalized meal planning, habit building, and gentle accountabilityâto support digestion, blood sugar, heart health, and overall well-being. I donât believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all diets. Our partnership combines your goals with guidance and encouragement, helping you enjoy food and life while building confidence in your choices.
Your first session with Leslie
Your first session is a relaxed, judgment-free conversation focused on understanding your health history, goals, and concernsâno pressure or âperfect eatingâ required. Weâll go over your medical background, medications, labs (if available), eating habits, lifestyle, and any challenges. Iâll ask questions to learn what matters most to you and whatâs working or not right now. By the end, youâll get clear, practical guidance and a few realistic steps you can start right away. Youâll leave with personalized nutrition strategies, time for your questions, and no overwhelming plan or strict rulesâjust small, meaningful changes to build your confidence and momentum. Most clients feel relieved, encouraged, and hopeful after their first session, and my goal is for you to feel supported and excited for whatâs next.
