About Leslie
Hi, Iâm Leslie, and Iâm grateful youâre here. I have nine years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and a BS in Dietetics from Mount Mary University. My career spans community health, clinical care, and a rewarding stint as program director for a wonderful non-profit that empowers adults and students to choose foods that sustain lifelong health through hands-on gardening, nutrition education, and culinary skills practice. Iâve also practiced medical nutrition therapy in community settings as a family care dietitian. My credentialsâCD, RDN, RDâreflect a science-based approach grounded in care. Outside of work, youâll find me hiking, tending my garden, making beaded jewelry, or exploring food systems. I bring a personal perspective too, having navigated disordered eating and watching a family member face metabolic challenges, which deepens my commitment to supporting people with warmth, honesty, and hope on their health journeys.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is grounded in evidence-based practice, warmth, and collaboration. I rely on current science to guide recommendations while honoring your lived experience, values, and goals. I meet you where you are and walk beside you, offering clear, practical steps rather than judgment. I embrace Health At Every Size and a holistic view that looks at sleep, stress, relationships with food, and daily routines as much as calories and nutrients. Together weâll build sustainable habits that fit your life, with education that helps you make informed choices and feel confident in your path to long term health.
Your first session with Leslie
Our first session is a conversation about you, not a test. Weâll review your medical history, any labs or biometrics youâve had, and your short term goals. You donât need to have it all figured out before we meet. Iâll meet you where you are, and together weâll set one or two realistic goals to start. Weâll talk about what has been working, what hasnât, and what motivates you to change. The plan will be flexible and personalized, designed to feel doable and hopeful as we embark on your journey.
