About Leslie

Hi there! My name is Leslie, and I’m passionate about helping you achieve your nutrition and health goals in a way that feels realistic, supportive, and sustainable. I’m a proud Arizona State University graduate (ā€œdouble devilā€!) with experience working with diverse populations and supporting individuals with concerns such as diabetes, heart health, and disordered eating. As a bilingual Registered Dietitian, I offer services in both English and Spanish. I’m especially passionate about working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and helping clients continue to enjoy and honor their cultural foods while managing their health. With me, you’ll learn that your cultural dishes are not something to give up — they are more than enough to support a long, healthy, and fulfilling life.

Approach to care

I believe nutrition is not one-size-fits-all. Everyone’s body, background, and life experiences are different, which is why I prioritize individualized, client-centered care. I strive to create a compassionate, judgment-free space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout your journey. My approach is sustainable and holistic, focusing on the connection between mind, body, and overall well-being. Together, we’ll work on building a healthier relationship with food while developing practical strategies that fit your lifestyle — not unrealistic rules or restrictions. In a world filled with confusing and often harmful nutrition messages, my goal is to provide reliable, evidence-based guidance that feels realistic and supportive of your long-term health.

Your first session with Leslie

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll discuss your background, experiences with food, medical and nutrition history, and what you’re hoping to gain from working together. This helps me better understand your unique needs so I can provide truly individualized care tailored specifically to you. You can expect a supportive, judgment-free conversation where we move at your pace. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with practical takeaways you can begin applying right away. Together, we’ll set realistic, SMART goals that align with your lifestyle and priorities, and I’ll be there to support you as you begin your nutrition journey.
