About Linda

With over 30 years experience as a Registered Dietitian, Linda brings her expertise in a variety of areas. She can help you design a plan that uses practical / simple techniques to manage what brought you here today. This may include learning to have a healthy relationship with food while managing heart disease, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, prediabetes, emotional eating, weight management, wellness, etc. As she helped her own mother manage Type 2 Diabetes, she is especially sensitive to the struggles you may have. She has advanced training in, and holds dual certifications as a specialist in Diabetes Care & Education and Obesity & Weight Management.

Approach to care

Linda will meet you where you are, helping you implement change, one step at a time. She believes all foods can fit into a healthy diet and helps to include these into a plan designed for you and your needs. She will help you feel empowered and confident as you learn realistic techniques you can implement in your daily routine. Linda will offer accountability and encouragement as you make long lasting lifestyle changes, rather than a quick fix that is not sustainable.

Your first session with Linda

This will include time to get to know you, while creating a comfortable space for sharing. Many have described their experience with Linda as, "She put me at ease". This will be a time for Linda to learn what your goals are, what has worked for you in the past and what you think is realistic as you move forward. While providing support Linda will help you set simple/realistic goals. As needed, she will provide education as it relates to diet and your condition, answering questions you may have to clarify anything that may be confusing.
