About Linda
Food and science have guided my career for decades. As an RD and LD with 35 years in nutrition, I hold a BS in Scientific Nutrition and an MS in Food Science and Technology. Much of my work was in outpatient clinic settings, including more than 20 years supporting people receiving dialysis. I enjoy translating complex lab results into practical steps, and when I’m not at work, you’ll find me camping, reading, or spoiling my grandkids. I come to each visit with curiosity, respect, and a drive to make change manageable and lasting.
Approach to care
Nutrition counseling should be rooted in good science and shaped by your life. I combine evidence-based guidance with direct, action-oriented steps so we can make steady progress together. I focus on long-term habits, not quick fixes, and I approach care without judgment while addressing the whole person, physical and emotional. I strive to educate and empower you, so you leave sessions understanding why a change matters and how we’ll sustain it over time.
Your first session with Linda
We’ll use the first visit to get a clear picture of your medical history and any relevant lab work or biometrics, and to identify a couple of short-term, achievable goals. The conversation is low-pressure and judgment-free, so you don’t need to have everything figured out beforehand. I’ll ask about routines, past strategies, and priorities, then we’ll agree on practical next steps you feel ready to try, with follow-up plans to keep us on track together.
