About Linda

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and moved out west for college, and have stayed on the west coast since! I have been working in dietetics for the past 21 years and really enjoy helping others explore ways to achieve their goals. I find fulfillment in seeing my patients improve their health so they can enjoy their own quality of life. I work with patients who have a variety of medical conditions such as diabetes, obesity, underweight, heart, kidney, lung or liver diseases, gastrointestinal issues, Cystic Fibrosis, dementia, cancer, post-surgical healing needs or wound healing needs. I am also passionate in working with those who require tube feeding or total parenteral nutrition (TPN).

Approach to care

I customize nutrition plans for each person to optimize their success. I am open minded & patient and aware that modifying your diet can be a significant feat that comes with frustration & confusion. My goal is to guide you through your journey to help alleviate some of the stress and answer any questions you may have along the way.

Your first session with Linda

In your first session, we will review your goals and discuss any background information that would be beneficial to developing your nutrition plan. This would include your medical history, identifying any food allergies or intolerances, food preferences and any previous diets you have tried. Additionally, we can discuss anything about your personal schedule, lifestyle, or fears that may be barriers to your success. I recommend bringing a written record of what you eat & times during the day that you are eating on a typical weekday and on the weekend to help us see where we can initially establish a few goals.
