βAn amazing dietician. She doesny nust make recommendations on what to eat but taps into emotional past events that shape the way you view food. Im excited to continue my partnership with her. β

About Lindsay
Hi, I'm Lindsay! I'm a registered dietitian with over 10 years of experience in a wide variety of settings, including individual and group nutrition counseling, acute care, surgical critical care, and research. It is a blessing to have a career with so many opportunities, but perhaps my favorite aspect of being a registered dietitian is walking alongside individuals as they make changes to improve their long-term health and quality of life.
Approach to care
Nutrition is not an independent silo, but rather one of many factors that impact your health. I am passionate about taking a holistic approach to care and breaking down barriers that have caused our healthcare system to be reactive instead of proactive. I take the time to get to know my patients and develop a realistic, flexible, and achievable nutrition plan of care.
Your first session with Lindsay
Your first session will be an opportunity for you to tell me about yourself and your experiences with nutrition and health. The structure of each session is patient specific. I will provide an introduction to basic nutrition principles and behavior change, however my primary goal for the first session (and subsequent sessions!) is to get to know where you have been, where you are currently, and where you see yourself in the future. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions about my philosophy as a registered dietitian.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, University of Delaware. Sodexo Mid-Atlantic Dietetic Internship with clinical rotations completed at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Hobbies
I love to do barre and spin classes. I enjoy any activities that are outside. I also co-lead a church ministry for mothers of children birth through preschool.
