About Lindsay
I've been a registered dietitian for 17 years, with experience working with a wide variety of patient populations in acute care, long-term care, and most recently working with a kidney disease population on dialysis. Diabetes is one of my main interests, and I'm currently working towards my CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist).
Approach to care
I very much believe that the bathroom scale never tells the entire story, and while diet quality is important, I like to look at the larger picture of health as well. My sessions are absolutely a judgement free zone! My job is also to translate the science into actionable steps you can take to lead a healthier lifestyle, while being your cheerleader along the way. I also want to be a safe space for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Your first session with Lindsay
For the first session, we are just getting to know each other! I know a lot of people may be nervous about seeing a dietitian, as we can cover vulnerable topics. I want to make sure you're at ease with me before we dive in deeper!
