About Lindsay

Hi there! My name is Lindsay Moran and I have been a registered dietitian nutritionist for over 8 years. I have 7 years of experience in outpatient telehealth counseling, and am passionate about helping my clients find a way of eating that is sustainable, enjoyable and that helps them reach their health and wellness goals. My interest in food and nutrition began as a child when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that required me to make some dietary changes for my health. I also grew up in a family where food played a huge role in our culture, connection and celebration! Spending countless hours cooking and baking with my mom and grandparents helped me to appreciate food not only as fuel but as a meaningful part of our social and cultural lives! I have two young children now and enjoy spending time in the kitchen with them and sharing my love for food!

Approach to care

My goal is to meet each person where they are at with nutrition and work from there. I recognize that nutrition is not the same for everyone and that it must be individualized in order to work for YOU! I focus on practical yet sustainable changes that fit each person's lifestyle, culture and goals. I prioritize evidence-based information and my goal is to make the evidence understandable and applicable to you! Together, we'll build realistic goals and strategies to help you feel fully supported and confident in your nutrition journey.

Your first session with Lindsay

Our first session is all about getting to know you! I'll start with a brief introduction and then you can expect to spend most of the hour going over your goals, past medical history, current dietary patterns, lifestyle and more! From there, we'll begin to develop a plan of action and set your first goal! I strive to meet each person's individual needs, so while each initial session covers similar areas, they may vary depending on your specific needs!
