About Lindsay
Hello and welcome! I’m a Registered Dietitian with a deep passion for food and all the ways it shapes health and daily life. I’m committed to helping people develop a balanced, enjoyable relationship with eating. With degrees in culinary arts, psychology, and nutrition and dietetics, I bring a whole-person perspective to supporting realistic, sustainable behavior change. My experience includes working with individuals managing a wide range of health conditions, including cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease.
Approach to care
My approach centers on creating a supportive, honest, and compassionate space where you feel truly met and understood. I use an evidence-based, whole-person perspective grounded in mindful practices to help foster sustainable, realistic habit change. I also believe food should bring enjoyment and creativity—fueling the body without adding stress. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies that align with your life and support your long-term health goals.
Your first session with Lindsay
During this session, the focus is entirely on you. We’ll talk through your health history, daily habits, nutrition goals, and any challenges you’re currently facing. This conversation will help us establish a clear starting point, and together we’ll outline a few practical, achievable steps to guide your progress. As we move forward, we’ll continue building on these steps so you feel supported and confident on your path toward your goals.
Education
I hold a Master of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and an Associate of Applied Science in Baking and Pastry Arts from Southwestern Oregon Community College.
Hobbies
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my animals, traveling to new places, and reading!
