About Lindsay
Hi! I’m Lindsay Sparks, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor with 10 years of experience. I specialize in women's health, general health, disordered eating/eating disorders, intuitive eating, and nutrition in substance use recovery. My trauma-informed, weight-inclusive approach helps clients build a sustainable, peaceful relationship with food while feeling empowered in their health. Outside of work, I’m a fitness enthusiast, outdoor lover, and proud mom of two girls.
Approach to care
My approach is rooted in self-compassion, curiosity, and long-term change. I work holistically with mind, body, and spirit to support clients in tuning into their body’s cues as much as they are able and ultimately building trust in themselves. Rather than rigid rules or quick fixes, I guide my patients toward a peaceful, nourishing relationship with food that aligns with their values and lived experiences. My care is collaborative, highly individualized, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space for all.
Your first session with Lindsay
Your first session is all about connection and understanding. We’ll talk through your health history, current challenges, and hopes for the future in a relaxed and judgment-free space. My priority is to meet you where you are and to use evidence-based guidelines to collaborate on what will work best to help you reach your goals. We’ll discuss what’s been going on with food, body image, movement, and any life circumstances that may be impacting your well-being. By the end of the session, we’ll collaborate to create both long-term and short-term goals -- designed to meet your unique lifestyle, preferences, and needs.
