About Lindsey
Hiya! I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2023 and after a celebratory camping trip with the doggos, I have been working in the hospital setting as well as a Bariatric and Medical Weight Loss clinic. My passion is in bariatrics and weight management, but I have a broad range of favorites including diabetes, heart and liver diseases, food allergies or aversions, and PCOS. I work with patients who are prepping for bariatric surgery, needing weight loss for surgery approval, or those who had surgery in the past, or abroad, and are needing a little extra support and motivation along the way. Outside of work, you'll find me crocheting while listening to an audiobook, experimenting in the kitchen (itโs not always great), or hanging out with my wild huskies. I'd love to be the supportive little voice in your mind while you're navigating this amazing journey along with life's crazy bends. This is a judgement free zone, unless you tell me you don't like tacos. ๐ฎ
Approach to care
My approach to care is rooted in a food-first, balance over perfection philosophy. I tailor practical strategies to your unique lifestyle considering current habits, preferences, time, family, skills, and budget - to set attainable goals that build lasting balance rather than strict dieting. I lead with balance and moderation over all-or-nothing mindsets and there is never, ever any shaming or judgement. Cookies are just as important as carrots :)
Your first session with Lindsey
In the first session we'll lay the foundation with a conversational "getting to know you" so we can map out a clear direction together. We'll identify small, realistic goals that fit your current lifestyle. You'll have a few simple steps to start building momentum and a gain sense of direction for future sessions, where we will take a deep dive into each area of your health. Expect a conversational, supportive approach with plenty of laughs along the way - because this process should feel doable, not overwhelming.
