About Lindsey
Hi there! I'm Lindsey, a registered dietitian based in coastal Mississippi. I have over six years of experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. I also write for various publications, sharing evidence-based approaches to nutrition and separating myths from facts. This has allowed me to gain valuable insights into a wide range of nutrition-related areas. Over the years, I have provided medical nutrition therapy to people with a variety of health conditions, including kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, malnutrition, and diabetes. I also have experience working with bariatric surgery patients before and after surgery, as well as those on GLP-1 medications.
Approach to care
As your dietitian, my top priority is connecting with you and truly listening to your concerns. Having faced my own challenges, I understand how important it is to feel seen and supported without judgment. That’s why I’m committed to understanding your unique situation so we can work together to create a personalized plan that works for YOU. My approach is grounded in science, but I explain things in a clear, lighthearted way to make our sessions both educational and enjoyable (because no one wants to sit through a boring, hour-long appointment, right?). I believe lasting change starts with small, realistic steps that help build a strong foundation. I also think it’s important for you to understand the “why” behind each recommendation so you can feel confident and empowered every step of the way.
Your first session with Lindsey
During our first session, we'll go over your medical history, lab work, and current eating and lifestyle habits. We'll talk about your specific goals and any challenges you're facing. Together, we'll create a personalized plan and set a few small, achievable goals.
