About Lindsey
Lindsey's career started in the rural community of Bishop, California where she played a key role as the sole Dietitian for the elderly at a skilled nursing facility implementing nutrition-focused care. She went on to provide her clinical skills as the Dietitian for a critical access hospital. Her areas of expertise include providing one-on-one medical nutrition therapy in a wide variety of chronic diseases and health conditions such as Diabetes, Heart Disease, Renal Failure, Gastrointestinal disorders, and weight management.
Approach to care
Balance, Variety, Moderation, Movement! Nutrition can seem complicated, but I try my best to simplify it for you. My approach to counseling is that every client’s plan is individualized- one plan does not fit all. My hope is to build your confidence, hold you accountable, and help you develop a sustainable plan to reach your health goals. I have a personal understanding of how difficult it can be to change an undesirable behavior. I am able to use the tools that I have learned to teach you how to modify your eating behaviors such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques.
Your first session with Lindsey
Building rapport is an essential part of this process. We will start by talking about what brought you here- your goals, concerns, lifestyle, and what you hope to achieve through nutrition. We will take a look at your current lifestyle patterns such as eating habits, sleep, and physical activity. Every client is different. Together, we will develop a plan that is individualized and implement goals that will motivate you for sustainable success. We'll outline a follow-up schedule that supports your progress. Between sessions, you can track your wins, bring questions, and we'll adjust your plan as needed.

Hobbies
Outside of work, I love spending time with my fiancé and rescue pup Kona. Mother nature is exquisite! It’s where I find a great deal of inner peace and solitude. I lived in the mountains of the Eastern Sierra for many years where I learned to love hiking, rock climbing, paddle boarding, mountain biking, and snow activities. Being active is a large part of my life.
