About Lindsey

Hi! I'm Lindsey, and I have been a dietitian for 8 years. I worked at the Houston VA as an inpatient dietitian for over 5 years, where I grew significantly as a clinician by getting to care for veterans with all sorts of acute and chronic illnesses. It was there that I found a niche in oncology care, as I enjoyed getting to come alongside those undergoing such a difficult time in life. I then spent over 2 years at Texas Children's Hospital as an oncology dietitian getting to expand my knowledge into the field of pediatrics. I have developed a passion for helping others work towards wellness through diet and lifestyle. I look forward to working with you on your journey to great health!

Approach to care

My experiences have created a passion in me for preventing and addressing disease with a root cause, whole foods approach. I will educate you on the foundations to good nutrition and additionally help create a personalized plan for sustainable change. I hope to empower you to not feel restricted to a diet or meal plan, and rather help you craft healthy meals that are enjoyable to you no matter if you are meal prepping, throwing a quick meal together at home, eating out or on the go! I also see value in addressing factors such as stress, sleep, lifestyle, and activity that have an impact on how our body utilizes what we eat. By addressing you as a whole, we can work towards improving health!

Your first session with Lindsey

You can expect open ears from me! I want to hear your story and understand your goals for working together. I will ask questions to help guide our conversation and help me to learn about things such as your diet, lifestyle, stressors, physical activity, and sleep patterns. Ultimately, my goal is that you would feel heard and validated in order to create the framework for success in working together.
