About Lisa

Three decades in nutrition shaped how I see food and people. I earned a BS at the University of Cincinnati and an MS from Case Western Reserve, and I practice as an RD and LD. My career has included clinical hospital work and community health, so I bring both bedside pragmatism and neighborhood-focused solutions to care. Outside of work you'll find me hiking, biking, weight training, or reading. I combine science, clear steps, and real-world practicality to help you create lasting habits.

Approach to care

Evidence guides the care I offer, and education is central to everything we do together. I translate current research into clear, actionable steps so we'll move from information to doing. My style is direct but warm, holding space for your story without judgment. I prioritize sustainable habits over quick fixes, use a weight-neutral Health At Every Size lens, and consider mental, emotional, and physical factors so changes fit your life long term.

Your first session with Lisa

Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring. I'll ask about routines, strengths, and barriers so we can build a practical meal plan and establish short-term goals that feel achievable. You'll leave with clear, actionable steps and a plan to track progress. You don't need to have everything figured out, we'll take it one manageable step at a time together.
