About Lisa

Lisa is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a passion for helping others optimize their health. She completed her education at the University of Alabama in Human Nutrition, and has additional training as a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. She is also a certified lactation consultant, and currently pursuing a certification through the integrative and functional nutrition academy. Lisa enjoys learning, is patient-centered, and employs a root-cause approach to health. Her interests include gut health, weight management, postpartum health, and sports nutrition.

Lisa practices individualized, evidenced-based nutrition that focuses on the different elements impacting personal health. Her goal is to help you feel empowered to make positive changes, embrace challenges, and live optimally.

Your first session with Lisa

The first session begins by learning about what makes you, you! We can chat about anything you feel comfortable sharing in terms of lifestyle, nutrition goals, sleep, stress, your favorite sports teams, all of it. After obtaining some background information, we will work together to develop a personalized plan that begins with implementing 1 or 2 smaller goals. For the best success, weekly meetings for the first 8 weeks is recommended, followed by biweekly or monthly meetings as needed.
