About Lisa
Hi, I'm Lisa, a Registered Dietitian based in Denver with over 25 years of experience across clinical hospital, community health, and educational settings. I earned my BS in Nutrition Science and my MS in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and I completed a Dietetic Internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital in NYC. My postnominals are MS, RDN, and LD. I love bringing nutrition into real life, blending science with practical plans that fit your daily routine. When I'm not at work, you'll often find me enjoying music, pilates, reading, or traveling.
Approach to care
My care philosophy centers on evidence-based, empathetic collaboration. We'll ground every plan in current science, then translate it into practical steps you can actually live with. I practice with a Health At Every Size approach, honoring your goals without judgment and focusing on sustainable behavior changes. This is a holistic process, considering sleep, stress, relationships, and your daily routines. You'll leave each session with clarity and the knowledge you need to decide what fits best for you.
Your first session with Lisa
Think of our first appointment as a conversation, not an evaluation. This time is all about you and what you want to achieve. We'll review your medical history, establish short-term goals, and look at any labs or biometrics to understand your starting point. We'll explore your "why" for seeking nutrition therapy in a nonjudgmental, collaborative space. You don't need to have it all figured out; together we'll set 1-2 realistic next steps to start.
