About Lisa

Experienced Registered Dietitian and Wellness Coach who is passionate about helping others improve their health, vitality and well-being through a fresh, proactive and sensible approach to nutrition. I am effective because I have a special knack for getting to the root of the problem and helping you create reasonable goals that will improve or solve the situation. I am also a unique blend of empathetic and no-nonsense, so I will be your cheerleader and encourage you, but also challenge you to stay on track with what you want to achieve. I made a career change to become a Dietitian several years ago because I wanted to help people cut through the noise that surrounds diet and nutrition and learn how to eat in a way that is both enjoyable and supports their health for the long term. (Yes, it's possible!) I would love to be your nutrition guide on your own personal journey to better health.

Approach to care

Each person is unique, so my approach is centered around you as an individual - what you value, what you need and what you want to get out of our sessions together. My approach tends to be evidence-based but I am flexible and also interested in holistic and natural health approaches.

Your first session with Lisa

In the first session, I'll do a comprehensive assessment with you so I can get a complete and accurate picture of your diet and health history as well as your relationship with food and where you want to go from here. We'll also discuss what's motivating you to want to make changes to your diet right now and what's a priority for you in your life. Towards the end of the session, I will discuss with you my initial recommendations regarding nutrition and provide you with nutrition education (if needed). If time allows during the first session, we can also jump into creating together 1 or 2 goals to get you off to a good start.
