About Lisa
Lisa is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Specialist of Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM). For most of her career, she has worked in nutrition counseling specializing in weight loss and diabetes management. Her past experience includes teaching diabetes self-management classes and nutrition counseling for a variety of reasons including, weight loss, bariatric surgery, cardiovascular disease and glucose management. Her passion is helping others work towards sustainable lifestyle changes that allow them to experience improved health and wellness!
Approach to care
Lisa's main approach is always to help you find your path to success; everyone's journey (and finish line) looks different! You'll receive an individualized and holistic approach based on the successes and challenges you are experiencing along the way. Each session will include evidence based healthcare recommendations and reasonable action plans for your needs and goals.
Your first session with Lisa
During your session together, Lisa will take some time to get to know you and your needs! This cover your health goals, background and lifestyle to develop a comprehensive action plan that fits your life. This nutrition assessment is your time to share and ask questions, and from here you can begin to set realistic action plans to help you move towards your goals.
